The Extended Day Program (EDP) is offered at individual school sites and offers a safe and enriched environment for students both before and after the regular school day. The program is staffed by child development teachers assisted by para educators. Daily activities include a nutritious snack, homework assistance, and physical activity. Enrichment activities are offered during the week and may include creative art, music, dramatic play, recreational games, and other lessons and activities appropriate for elementary age students.
Days and Hours of Operation
The Extended Day Program operates every day that school is in session beginning on the first day of school in August through the last day of school in June. Program hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Monthly fees are calculated as follows:
- 3 hours per day or less $290.00
- 3.25 hours to 4.75 hours per day $320.00
- 5 hours and over per day $340.00
- Tetzlaff Middle School Rate $320.00 Services available only after school until 6:00 pm
All monthly rates include early release days. The program does not operate on holidays. Special spring and summer sessions may be available at additional cost depending upon interest and participation.
Program Enrollment
Enrollment in the Extended Day Program is based on a first come first serve basis. There is a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee due at the time of enrollment. When a site’s program is full, the staff will establish a waiting list for admission into the program. Only those students who are currently enrolled in the school of interest shall be placed on the waiting list for that school. The following are the school sites that offer the Extended Day Program:
